I’m taking some time out this holiday season to remember my mother, Marilyn Capote. Marilyn was a third generation Californian and San Francisco native who worked in San Bruno and local real estate for over 30 years. Marilyn was a revered lady with many friends, a loving family and an unquenchable zest for living that drew people close to her throughout her entire life. Marilyn gave back in every way she knew how, through her mentoring, through her charity work and most importantly, through example. I write this today on the third anniversary of her passing so that I may honor her, and I hope to give those who knew her a forum to cherish her memory.
