San Bruno Education Foundation
Founded in 2005, the San Bruno Education Foundation (SBEF) is committed to helping children receive a great education. Its mission is to promote and support education in preschool through grade eight schools in San Bruno. The Foundation is a conduit providing resources to meet the educational needs of children in San Bruno schools. Our goal is to receive, raise, and distribute money for the improvements of San Bruno Schools.
The SBEF provides teachers of the San Bruno Park School District the ability to apply for grants that help support their cirriculum. During the 2010-2011 school year, the SBEF awarded twenty grants that included ipods for learning, media/applications for special education and even funded a grant for a distrtwide summer reading program, Reading Counts at the El Crystal Danford Center for Innovation.
The San Bruno Parch School Distict and the board of trustees is doing a commendable job working within the confines of the state financing issues, however students and schools need your help. Please contribute to the SBEF or volunteer to help us raise money to provide San Bruno students with the best educational environment possible.
